President Obama: "Obama said he was not worried about how the storm might affect the election. "I'm worried about the impact on families; I'm worried about the impact on first responders; I'm worried about the economy and transportation," he told reporters. "The election will take care of itself next week.""

Watch for him to be criticized by the GOTP for "using the hurricane to opportunistically appear 'presidential'"... (And of course, if he were not doing what he is doing, you could watch for them to criticize him for 'not being presidential enough.")

What a freaking load of crap!!! Even after four years, you are still falling for this man's lies. More gullible?

Barack has constantly shown in the last six months that being re-elected is much more important than actually presiding over the US. The power brokers want thier pound of flesh from him.

Sounds to me like he's doing his job. I hope for the sake of those affected he does it well.

90 mile an hour sustained winds. Wow. At least it is moving really fast. 26 miles an hour? That is unheard of.

Just last night they were worried because it was moving so slowly (15mph)... They were afraid that the slow speed would keep it over inhabited areas and do even MORE damage... If it's picked up to 26mph, that may be a blessing in disguise, if that means it will pass through more quickly....
