I love this article – the folks on the East coast are being sent to internet sites for emergency assistance. Never mind that 7.5 MILLION of them have no power. Hope they charged up their batteries!
Technology has really changed how America gets their news. I did have the Weather Channel on last night, but my main sources were #Sandy on Twitter and Facebook posts from people in the affected region, or their friends, made it much more personal, but also a little more voyeuristic.

Those folks make me crazy. We don't have their internet, but from time to time I have tried to open a trouble ticket on our land line via their website. Every time I've tried that the site gets to a certain point and then craps out. I end up calling them from my work phone.
