Obama slogan has long ties to Marxism, socialism

The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.

Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)."

"The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

Progressive, progression. Foward this time? Instead of Hope and No Change?

Going backward from exploding debt, increased taxes, and expanding government mandates is fine with me.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I seriously doubt that Romney would take us back to the Clinton years of reasonable taxes and balanced budgets...nope they want to take us way back, to treating women like 2nd class citizens, to eliminating those programs that help seniors, to putting healthcare back in the hands of insurance companies, not patients. The GOP will take this country in reverse...and that would be disastrous for us all.

God I'm sick of the same old talking points. Can't you people just type ditto instead of typing the same garbage over and over?
