You would think with your years of experience you would realize the GOP never really rolls back any entitlements. Every Republican administration increases the number of people receiving entitlements. Now 34% of Americans are receiving benefits.archer wrote: I seriously doubt that Romney would take us back to the Clinton years of reasonable taxes and balanced budgets...nope they want to take us way back, to treating women like 2nd class citizens, to eliminating those programs that help seniors, to putting healthcare back in the hands of insurance companies, not patients. The GOP will take this country in reverse...and that would be disastrous for us all.

archer wrote: Probably not Tower.....when you care deeply about your country, and you see everything you have worked for all your life, women's rights, equality, assistance for seniors, affordable healthcare for everyone, college made more available, well you have a couple of choices. You can suit back, hope for the best, and ignore the nay sayers....or you can keep fighting for what you believe in, keep talking about what is important, keep pointing out the flaws in the arguments from the other side. Will it change minds? Probably not, but doing nothing, opting out of the discourse, ignoring the real threat to this country....it's just not in my DNA to do that. If you find it so bothersome, don't read all the political stuff.
