Remember when Clinton Endorsed Romney?

Bill Clinton endorsed Mitt Romney? Since some of the "brains" on this site are playing this stupid game, I figured I'd offer a check-mate of my own... remember this from Bill Clinton this year?

CLINTON: I think he had a good business career. If you go in and you try to save a failing company, and you and I have friends here who invest in companies, you can invest in a company, run up the debt, loot it, sell all the assets, and force all the people to lose their retirement and fire them. Or you can go into a company, have cutbacks, try to make it more productive with the purpose of saving it. When you try, like anything else you try, you don't always succeed. I don't think that we ought to get into the position where we say this is bad work. This is good work. There's no question that getting up and going to the office and basically performing the essential functions of the office, a man who's been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold.

Surely you are not suggesting that the citizens of a capitalist society should earn a living in a competitive market that demands individuals hold themselves and their dependents accountable for their own success and well being. Clearly it is the role of Gubment to take everyone's wealth and then hand it back out to all in portions that only the Gubment can determine are correct and fair*.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

I wonder how much per hour Team Axelrod is paying Bill to go on tour.

But your examples are candidates running against Romney. Clinton wasn't running against Obama.

It's interesting you guys never asked Heisey for a source for his quote. Funny he never posted one with his quote.

Oh wait, he's a conservative. He gets a pass with you guys.

Watch the video and read the text.

It was an obvious and clear endorsement of Romney by Bill Clinton. At least according to Dog's warped view of things in his Christie endorses Obama thread. But of course we have to suspend belief about everything else said to the contrary...

Oh I'm sorry for that massive mistake officer. But ya know, there's a thing called Google where you can copy and paste a series of words or sentences into it, then hit Enter.

Here's the original along with a few more you can cross check with if you really want to investigate it's accuracy.
