Anyone interested in making stock market predictions based on the winner tomorrow?
Dow is approx 13,061 right now....what will it be at the close of friday this week.
For example:
Obama win-DOW 14,500
Romney win-DOW 10,500
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
I don't think it will move much unless Romney wins, then I think it will go up to at least 13500 in the next few weeks. If Obama wins, I think it will go below 12,000 by spring unless he finds a way to actually work and stop the Jan 1 fiscal cliff.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
With either candidate there is a pretty good chance the markets are going to go nuts in December, 12000 LOL, it could be a whole lot worse than that. Take those capital gains and Dividends in 2012.
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

12570 and falling... another coincidence a week after the savior is reelected.

No coincidence....and it will continue to go down until Obama and the republicans come to a compromise on the "fiscal cliff" and remove the uncertainty. Europe will continue to weigh on the market, but I think investors will shake off some of those concerns if we get our own house in order
Europe slipped back into a recession last quarter. If Obama wins on increasing taxes on capital gains, the stock market might actually rise. People will hold onto gainers rather than pay the increased tax bill.
