At least as of now:

Tammy Duckworth has defeated teabagger Joe Walsh.

Alan Grayson (FL) has gotten back in by defeating Todd Long.

Jim Graves is only 1500+ votes behind teabagger Michell Bachmann, (with only 33% reporting)...So it's still too close to call...

Patrick Murphy is only 1200 votes behind teabagger Alan West, (with 82% reporting), but still too close to call...

Those are the ones I've been most interested in... There are other, but they'll shake out later...

But the Republicans keep the house. More gridlock? Or do Boehner Obama and Reid go into a bunker and hash a budget etc out?

"The definition of 'insanity' is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."

I rather imagine Boehner and the Boys will hunker down, lick their wounds--for maybe a day or two--and then go right back to being their usual obstructionist selves.

I worry about McConnell's mental health, though...

Yeah.. Well, there are some stupid people in her district...

How nice for him... At least he won't have to go on the lecture circuit to stay employed...BY THE GOVERNMENT.

So Tea Party favorites Joe Walsh and Allan West went down, and Tea Party darlings Mia Love, Akin and Mourdoch went down in flames.

And all the incumbents won in Colorado! Supposedly everyone hates Congress, but they keep voting for their own Congresspeople. Some of those Tea PArty losses were due to redrawn and merged districts like Allen West.

Jesse Jackson Jr. won despite not campaigning and under treatment for a bipolar disorder.
