College is not the problem. A college degree is still a good thing to have. The problem is employment. Due to government intereference extending the economic crisis, companies are not hiring.

You bet your butt I'm encouraging my kid to go to college. The unemployment rate of college grads is far lower than that of high school graduates.

Can you explain as to what government interference is extending the economic crisis? Details, please.

ACA for one.

How? It has no effect on businesses with less than 50 employees and will help small businesses with more than 50 employees provide health benefits to the workers, what specificially is the harmful interference that causes it to extend the economic crisis.

My understanding, which must be incredibly limited since I am merely a liberal and incapable of understanding such things according to some here, is that businesses are not hiring because they do not see consumer demand. Consumers are unable to spend because they are underemployed, or unemployed. Until consumer spending increases, most businesses will not expand. Until the economy expands and businesses hire, consumers will not spend.

Conservatives tell us that it is all the fault of the government, even though they also tell us that the government can not create jobs. Conservatives tell us that it is because of high tax rates, even though tax rates are at a modern historical low. Conservatives tell us that it is because of government regulations, even though study after study shows that regulations have less than .5% effect on business expansion, and conservatives can not point out any regulations that are limiting expansion. Conservatives tell us that it is the fear of increasing tax rates on the wealthiest one percent even though studies show that decreasing tax rates on the wealthy have no effect on job rates.

So how is the government interfering with job creation?

Here come some of the detailed rules today (after the election). Don't worry though, you the consumer have 30 days to "comment" on the rules, and they "the rulers" will no doubt take your comments into consideration. Enjoy your rules loyal servants!
