So the Left is all happy that Obama was re-elected, but what are you expecting from him this time?
Amnensty? (Or is it essentialy already here?)
A new assault gun ban? (Feinstein is submitting one again this year)
Debt increase? (Hary Reid wants to go to 19 trillion.)
Little changed from the last four years?
Obama to improve his golf score? And get a nice, long vacation.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Amnesty? Nope... Perhaps something more like the Comprehensive Immigration Reform that McCain was for; (and RMoney was for--before he was against it.)
Assault Gun Ban - I would be OK with that. It was in-place before, and the communist hordes and Zombie Apocalypse didn't overwhelm us.
Debt Increase - Yeah, it's going to have to be done.. BY the way: How many times did GOP icon Ronald Reagan raise the debt ceiling? He raised it 17 times. Reagan's works out to someting like, one every six months.
I expect the economy to improve...I expect unemployment to continue to go down. (Since the 5-1/2 million jobs created already exceeds the 3 million from Bush's entire 8 years, we're already better off.) You're not happy that it's not happening fast enough? Yawn....
Oh, and by the way, Obama took fewer vacation days than Bush. You need some new material.
The "Obama plays golf" bit is getting REALLY, REALLY old.
Trust me on this. The nation doesn't care if the president relaxes playing golf. No president ever skipped doing something to get out of the office once in a while.
I expect ACA to continue. I expect some changes on the Supreme Court and overriding Citizens United. I expect the economy to slowly rebound. I expect more people to leave the work force as baby boomers continue to retire in increasing numbers. I expect the Right to paint that as "people who quit looking for work."
I expect the "Obama played another round of golf" comments to continue from the Right.

Not just Obama, all of Congress:
Some real impacts on mitigating climate change, no compromising, or we're gonna be in a bigger world of hurt than just paying $5/gal for gas.
Increasing taxes on those who can afford it and making significant, if not deep cuts in the budget in conjunction with the increase in revenue.
Increase efficiency in bureaucracy.
Breaking some of the ties between corporations and government by eliminating Citizens United and dramatically cutting lobbyist time with politicians.
A balanced budget.
Getting our troops out of areas we have no business being in and drastically reducing the defense budget while still keeping us militarily strong (and I mean to wage war smarter, not with the latest, biggest, most expensive toys that merely keep subcontractors sitting fat and happy).
More spending in basic science research or we're going to fall behind, and then so does our GDP eventually.
After that, world peace. And a shawarma. (a free glass of wine from me, tonight, for whomever is first to ID that last reference)
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

That's funny. A president that badmouths business owners and says that they didn't build that- who says that the private sector is doing fine- who says that we need to punish rich people and spread the wealth- who did nothing in the last 4 years to promote job growth- who spent trillions of dollars that we borrowed- and you think he's going to improve the economy and balance the budget and save the planet?
No... You haven't... For the next four years, you're going to hear stuff that wasn't selectively edited by the same folks that brought you the phony election polls and the echo-chamber you live in.
SC you have very ambitious expectations for a man who has demonstrated over the last four years that he is capable of nothing more than over spending, ensuring gridlock in Congress, and blaming everyone else instead of owning the problems he has created. I was wrong about Americans being smart enough to know better than to re-elect Barry, even so I'll "go way out on a limb" and predict that nothing good will come from Barry's second and thankfully final term. I hope I'm actually very wrong and our Nation returns to its place as the leading superpower in the world; the map I'm looking at leads the USA in the opposite direction.
You owe me for one glass of wine, make mine Silver Oak Cabernet vintage 1997:
If you have not been I recommend the Damascus Grill in Littleton, great food and large portions at a price even a cheapskate like me feels is a bargain!
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Putin & Medevev are waiting to get what Barack promised off mic. And new reports says Obama is also working to get the Palestinians their own state. He might earn that Nobel Peace Prize he got awhile ago.

That won't rub the Israelis the wrong way... Which nation will strike the other first? Iran and Israel are both rattling their sabers but how much longer will it be before one nation takes overt action on the other?
Then let's add Syria into the mix, Assad has openly stated that he will not leave the country and that he will do everything he can to "suppress and eliminate" (read exterminate) the rebels. How much longer will the UN sit back and watch the fighting go on? Russia has strong ties to Syria, they will protect Assad and the Chinese are likely to follow Russia's lead.
Over to the "Nuttier than a Port-o-Potty at a peanut festival" North Korea, the military posturing continues. The world is far more dangerous than it has been in a decade and now we have to endure four more years of a president that bows to the leaders of these nations.
Remember, the majority of Americans voted for it.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
