I agree murder and self defense is completely different, but that's not what we're talking about is it? We're talking about a group of people who signed up to serve the country and these men and women don't have a say in whether or not they want to participate in a conflict. They also don't deserve to be despised for doiing their job.

Never mind that Martin...I have an announcement to make. EVERBODY! It's been brought to my attention (in no uncertain terms) that perhaps some of the views expressed here in this thread are insensitive- and at the very least unecasary on this particular day. And I can clearly see her point. I apologize- I was just posting that video in the opening post and that was gonna be that, then Jack triggered a rant with his "they are fighting for our freedoms" statement. I was out of line.
Also I am banned from posting on message boards for at least a year- Or suffer severe consequences, ones I don't want to phathom at this stage of my life. So

I'll add one more thing..I don't despise these men and women and have no i'll feelings for them, I just don't see the honor in what they do. And I will stand strong by my original statment that "We gotta stop celebrating war "
