According to Fox 31, a news editor is responsible for the screw up.

On Tuesday morning, KMGH publicly admitted to making the mistake on its website, saying an editor inadvertently grabbed the image off the Internet and included it in the newscast.

A news editor who trashed the credibility of a news station and the hard work of many who work there.
