Isn't seceding essentially renouncing your citizenship? They do ask you that question when you go to buy guns.
But this whole secession movement is only really a protest vote. I doubt most of the signers have thought about how difficult it would be to actually seperate a state. But in more revalent news, Scotland will vote next year on splitting off from Great Britain. It will be interesting to see if that comes to pass. Scotland tends to be a poorer region of the UK and they will find it hard to pay for all the entitlements their citizens have become used to.
