Thanksgiving Travel Warning

If you are planning to fly on Thanksgiving Day, be forewarned that the union at LAX, a branch of SEIU will be striking that day. Nothing like messing up traffic on the holidays to win support from the general public. :dislike:

It is actually the airport workers who are going on strike, not the airline employees.

Maybe those pesky trash cans won't get dumped for a whole day.

Maybe some of the folks who have been getting screwed, passed over, and paid garbage wages will get the attention of airport authorities... You want to split hairs over whether it's the airlines, a specific airline, or the airport authority, knock yourself out. (We also "get it" that "tin-foil" is really made out of aluminum these days...)

People strike for a reason... And it's still their constitutional right to do so. Gee, it inconveniences some people?...Well, guess what--That's the purpose of a strike.

Since the Dems are in total control of California, it seems like the LAX people are getting screwed by Gov. Brown and his underlings.
Or maybe they want to get their cut before the state goes bankrupt?
