Boenhner already changing his tune

Funny, right after the election, Boehner said "Obamacare is the law of the land". Now, he's written an Op-Ed on Cincinnati.com discussing how Republicans would go about dismantling the law.

In his piece, he contends that House Republicans will conduct “vigorous oversight” of the law’s implementation in an effort to neuter its provisions:

"The tactics of our repeal efforts will have to change. But the strategic imperative remains the same. If we’re serious about getting our economy moving again, solving our debt and restoring prosperity for American families, we need to repeal Obamacare and enact common-sense, step-by-step reforms that start with lowering the cost of health care. Congress has a constitutional responsibility to conduct thorough oversight of the executive branch, and congressional oversight will play a critical role in repealing Obamacare going forward."

Hey John, give up your government-funded single-payer lifetime healthcare and go out and buy a private policy on the open market. Let us know how wonderful it is then. Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk.

His position evolved? Maybe he stopped reading Lady Jazzer like posts that the GOP is already dead and buried?
Traditionally the sixth year is always a tough time for a President, "W" got shellacked in the midterms etc.
Plus some 30 governors are GOP and they could help to slow the implementation of ASA state exchanges.

No problem...

Obamacare is currently the law of the land. That doesn't mean that it needs to stay in place as the law of the land.
