Or.....he is living proof that no matter how crazy the democrat candidate is, they are still preferable to what the republicans have to offer.

The Left laughes at us for primarying our RINO's, but maybe the Dems here should have primaried this legacy choice.

Now black leaders are worried that the seat might go to a white Dem in the upcoming special election.
Racist Dems! The Jesse Jackson seat is a black seat and needs to remain so.

You really heard that... seriously? WTF does skin color have to do with the ability to serve?

I think someone needs to propose the formation of the Congressional White Caucus just to watch hypocritical liberals heads exploding like a cheap pinatas.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

This is a stain on all black democrats and their supporters..If we have enough of these scandals- I fear the party might die

Gee, is that as bad as beating up your wife, after running a "Family Values" campaign?...I'm just trying get a sense of how black the pot is that's calling the kettle....

Brad Staats, Failed Tennessee GOP House Candidate, Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Wife

Tennessee Republican Brad Staats, a losing congressional candidate earlier this month, was arrested early Sunday morning on a domestic assault charge after police responded to a call from his wife claiming that he slapped her.

According to a report in the Nashville City Paper on the police affidavit, Staats denied his wife Bethany's account of the incident, but said that "he pushed his wife ... down onto a bed then left the location.”

The affidavit, also notes, however, that "Ms. Staats did have a red mark on her left cheek consistent with her statement." The Tennessean got a hold of Staats on Monday, who told the outlet that the situation was “not what it appears to be.”

Though Staats posted a sizable loss to Democratic incumbent Rep. Jim Cooper -- by a margin of about 85,000 votes, or more than 30 percent of the total vote -- his campaign website "Family Matters" is still active.

After being booked on a misdemeanor domestic assault charge, Staats posted a $5,000 bond and was released from Davidson County Jail, according to the City Paper. His trial date is set for Feb. 7 of 2013. Staats is just the latest in a long line of political hypocrites to be caught not practicing what they preach.

Dang...Those "Family Values", "Second Amendment" types just can't be trusted.... Particularly after they LOSE an election by 30%.
