Of course, if CSU really wanted to get ahead of the curve, maybe they should check out the research institute at Humbolt College.

A public university located in one of California's prime pot-growing regions has formed an academic institute devoted to marijuana.

The Humboldt Institute for Interdisciplinary Marijuana Research at Humboldt State University plans to sponsor scholarly lectures and coordinate research among 11 faculty members from fields such as economics, geography, politics, psychology and sociology.

Yes it is, and they make damn fine sauvignon blanc and chardonnay as well (and it's only going to get better). The real secret is the Cab Franc that Washington is producing though - O.M.G. If you can find a bottle of OS Winery, Cayuse, Seven Hills, or Walla Walla Vintners do it! (and make sure you invite me over and share)
