Cry me a river L(ittle) J(ester).

Quote:
Lawyers for Cohen asked a judge to throw out the suit, saying it was filed "to harass and generate media attention against Mr. Cohen." A judge agreed, finding the allegations were too old and unsubstantiated for the case to go forward.

Can't wait for the crying babies to surface and come up with propoganda on THIS poor sap.
Like the well educated phrase, "tax the hell out of 'em."

It's simple, Socialists want what Capitalists have and they want to take wealth from those who have it and to give wealth to those who don't. Let's get behind this idea and make everyone equally poor, after all who should live in luxury (our Glorious Leader and his staff exempted of course) when our brothers and sisters suffer and under achieve because it's too hard to compete for good jobs and be accountable for their own status and actions? Shouldn't the Gubment be responsible for our success and achievements? It's unrealistic to ask our citizens to be accountable for their own actions and lack of ambition.

Trust in our Glorious Leader, he will provide for all of us and ensure that we all receive what the Gubment believes each of us deserves.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Want to find an answer to being unemployed and dependent on the Gubment? Get off your dead ass and find a job (or three), they are out there but don't expect to start off as the CEO. The raw, hard truth is you'll have to start at the bottom and work and earn your way up into better jobs, in my experience they are not going to fall out of the sky on you.

Unless you really can't work, there is no excuse for sitting back and living off of the dole.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

I agree with you 110%.

On topic: When do you suppose guys like this will be getting nailed for 50% of their income or more? 2020 or so? Only a matter of time. Not to mention everything else that has to come crashing down before a lot of our nation wakes up.

If our 1% are the intelligent people I believe them to be they will follow the example of their British and French counterparts. In Britain and France the majority of the 1% have simply packed up and moved to another country that isn't as greedy about consuming their personal wealth. Many of these business owners take their businesses with them over time because they realize that they can increase their profit margins while spending less to operate their businesses.

Increasing taxes on the wealthy will backfire, increasing taxes on everyone should be unpopular but look at the demographic that created Barry 2.0. Maybe it's just me but the last time I whacked my thumb with a hammer I paid a lot more attention to what I was hitting with the hammer. Does the majority of the American public really believe that they can put Barry back in office and not end up suffering the consequences? Apparently learning the lesson the hard way is the only way some of these people can be convinced, the rest are brain damaged beyond repair. The 23.5%?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
