While I disagree with the senator that global warming is a hoax, I disagree even more with our administration handing billions over to the UN "under the radar" (again, that transparency!) when we're already in such a deep financial hole.
"How many billions have already been handed over in the last three years? It’s hard to tell. There appears to be little in the way of transparency. Bloomberg reports that the European Union, the United States, Japan and other developed nations paid out in the range of $23 to $34 billion."
Record debt levels and we are still handing out money overseas.
Interesting factoid I read about global warming: with the ice cap melting, the sea level is rising in some parts of the world, but in Scandinavia, the land is rising, because the ice is melting so acerage is increasing. I would imagine Russia, Canada and Alaska may also gain hundreds of yards of more beaches.
Take a great weight(ice) off the land, and it bounces back.

Yea but you have such a head start we will never catch up.
So since Inhofe, the fossil fuel whore, says that Obama has given billions to the UN for global warming, it must be true. Not.
The European Union and United States refused at UN talks in Doha on Wednesday to commit to concrete climate funding for poor nations as yet another report warned of dire global warming consequences within decades.
Congress in recent years has voted to authorize $4 million (not billions) to fund IPCC studies on climate change. It is yet one more conservative lie that Obama has given billions to the UN for global warming adaption.
