Gee, where was your concern, (read: your outrage) when the corporations were contributing to Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Clinton, and George W. Bush?

Oh... I see...It only applies if it's Obama... Your hypocrisy is showing... Imagine my surprise.

Got it... :Snooze

But Republicans are supposed to be corporate whores. Dem are supposed to be against corporate cronyism instead of having the evil capitalists buy them Russian caviar and French Champagne.

Same place it is now, shouing that power corrupts and that as long as gov. has the power to legislate economic winners and losers people will bribe them.

You on the other hand have demonstrated repeatedly that you do not care about corrupt government as long as it is run by democrats.

Pot/Kettle/Black...

Wake me when you have something original....other than showing your own hypocrisy.

You're OK with hundreds of millions in under-the-table corporate cash in elections; you love the idea of "Citizens United", and Crossroads/GPS and even foreign cash in the Super-pacs. You uttered not one word as donations to previous president's inaugurations poured in...

But now, all of a sudden, you think you can hold everyone else to a different standard that you are perfectly okay with...

Pathetic.

Dems in political power: We have met the enemy and he is us. Just as beholden to the big money people as the Republicans.

"He" is an odd way to refer to the American people.

LJ's Response: We won. You lost. And we don't care about the cost to our values and beliefs. Gave up on Kyoto.
Our trustbusters are being whined and dined by the trusts. Patriot Act has expanded and we are still spending billions on the TSA circus.

Inauguration ought to be just a simple ceremony and not the coronation it has become.

You mean the TSA that Bush created?....After he allowed 9/11 to happen on his watch? While he was asleep at the wheel?...Yeah, I remember that.

You're right ... I don't care about your values and beliefs... You voted them...You lost. I voted mine, and I won. The Patriot Act? You mean the one Bush instituted, and those of us on the left protested for years because of its invasion of privacy, warrantless searches and wiretaps?...And how we were branded as "unpatriotic" because we didn't suck up the right-wing/Cheney/Rove/Rumsfeld Kool-Aid? And, yes, I want to see the trusts busted...

You didn't care about our values and beliefs when the teabaggers temporarily took over in 2010... That won't happen again... Wake me when you have something original....other than showing your own hypocrisy. As you so enjoyed telling us before, "Elections have consequences."

Of course, you can always surrender your passport, and leave... or secede...or whatever it is you folks who can't accept their defeat are doing these days....
