Gee, why weren't you saying that when Bush was raising $40 million for his own coronation?

LJ is so fixated on "W" that she doesn't realize she helped elect a Republican. Obama Republicrat.

Wake me when you have something original....other than showing your own hypocrisy.

You're OK with hundreds of millions in under-the-table corporate cash in elections; you love the idea of "Citizens United", and Crossroads/GPS and even foreign cash in the Super-pacs. You uttered not one word as donations to previous president's inaugurations poured in...

But now, all of a sudden, you think you can hold everyone else to a different standard that you are perfectly okay with...

Pathetic.

None of those former presidents promised to "fundamentally transform" the system as this one has done. None of the others promised that they wouldn't hire lobbyists to operate their administration like this one did. None of the others promised an end to "business as usual" like this one did. The reason that this president is held to a different standard is that he promised he would hold himself to a different standard than his predecessors did.

(Oh, and Bush promised us there were nuclear weapons in Iraq too... And he promised us that those (unpaid-for) tax-cuts for the wealthy would "trickle-down" and "create jobs"... (3 million in 8 years?...As opposed to 23.1 million in the Clinton-era, with the higher tax-rates?)

"None of those former presidents promised to "fundamentally transform" the system as this one has done...." Bullsh*t....

See LJ doesn't even expect Obama to hold to his campaign promises. She was actually voting against Romney instead of supporting a man who pledged to change the way Washington ran.

You must be fine with it too because Obama does the same stuff.
