So just how unbelievably uninformed are voters in the United States? We aren't talking about potential voters or eligible voters here. We are talking about LIKELY voters. Here's one example:
"Only 29 percent see House Speaker John Boehner, the lead Republican negotiator in fiscal cliff talks, in a positive light. Thirty-four percent view him negatively and 24 PERCENT HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM ...
"The Politico/George Washington University Battleground Poll, conducted by the [Republican] Tarrance Group and [Democrat] Lake Research Partners, surveyed 1,000 registered LIKELY voters from Dec. 2 to Dec. 6 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points." (My caps)
Did you get that? ALMOST ONE-QUARTER OF LIKELY VOTERS do not even know who John Boehner is!
Hopefully these low information Americans chose not to vote. I know so many Americans more concerned about American Idol than the Fiscal Cliff. At least after a vote on American Idol, you see changes.
When Obama first ran and got a record amount of votes, many people were excited, thinking they were going to see big changes, transparancy, and feel like a real part of it. But after four years, they realized, DC is DC, and Barack isn't able to or doesn't want to change it.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Since most of the people who voted chose Obama, it appears that most of those people are ignorant liberals and do not know who House Speaker John Boehner might be. It does not surprise me that liberals are ignorant. Their voting record provides evidence of that fact.
