I am amazed that anyone illegal or not can get a job in a Senate office with out any sort of background check.

They let Senator Robert Bryd, former KKK member serve until his death. Clearly no qualifications for employment.
They let Teddy Kennedy serve after abandoning a drowning woman and leaving the scene of an accident.
Why should they hold interns to higher standards?

They let:

Randy “Duke” Cunningham – Former Congressman; Sentenced to, and is currently serving an 8 year sentence for graft, fraud, corruption, serve out the rest of his term.

Bob Ney – Former Congressman, sentenced to 30 months for conspiracy, graft, corruption, making false statements to federal law enforcement, serve the rest of his term.

Rep. Mark Foley, (R-FL) – Former 6-term congressman; was allowed to resigned after being exposed for soliciting sex with male pages in the Congress;

Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) who publicly apologized after being linked to an alleged prostitution ring in Washington, was once a client of a high-priced New Orleans brothel..I believe he's still serving...

Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) admitted he had an extramarital affair with a member of his campaign staff. He served out the rest of his term....

Isn't amazing who they'll let serve in the Congress... ? Dead-beat dads who owe over $100,000 to their ex-wives and kids, (Joe Walsh); military guys who were forced out of the service for dishonorable behavior, (Allen West)... You're right... unbelievable....

Yeah, why hold interns to higher standards...?
