I stole this idea from the house editorial of the magazine, the Week.

Currently it is legal to gamble in Colorado, at many retail locations, you just have to buy lotto tickets to do it. This makes so much money for the state that they fund commericals encouraging you to gamble.

So if Colorado starts making some good money from retail sales tax on dope, will they start running ads too?

And why is it OK for the state to pay to encourage gambling?

Sidebar: Per the Denver Post today, Parker has banned retail MJ sales in their community. Think they might come to regret that? Neighboring communities might make a lot in sales tax selling to Parker residents. And they might even go to other towns to combine trips, pick up your groceries when you pick up your weed.
wreath I think we need this updated for THC.
