Transportation is one of the worthwhile ways to spend public money unless the transportation system is owned by a private company. Tax money should not be used to enrich a private company. Last time I checked we don't have a government railway or an airline. At least with airplanes a private citizen can use the airports and airways not so much on a rail line.

Research when the US nationalized the railroads during WWI. Total disaster. Think I will trust Warren Buffet & Anschutz to run our freight system instead of BHO.

No, he's not. He's actually one of the better posters here in actually addressing the issues and not resorting to name-calling and personal attacks and I appreciate his thoughts and opinions on matters, just like I do yours when it's not littered with afore-mentioned crap.
