Good news, best wishes for a speedy recovery.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
Blood clots are deadly and shouldn't be joked about. My friends child was killed by one last summer after a routine surgery to repair a torn ligament. The guy owed me over $2500 and on the way to the funeral my wife said "don't mention the money!"..I was thinking "well duh, of course not". After the burial my friend was coming down the line of mourners thanking everyone for coming and he lingered by us for a long time, he wouldn't leave...After some hugs and everything there was some awkward silence so I said "and don't worry about that money now, we''ll talk about it after Christmas or something.." I could see steam coming out of my wifes ears and she immediately chimed in saying "No, well never talk about it again, you don't owe him anything"..I looked at her, then looked at him, then looked at her, then back to him.... and nodded like "ok"...What else could I do?..After he moved on I leaned over to my wife and whispered "stay outta my business" and she said "don't you have a heart?" and I said "I can't afford one of those...I think we just paid for this F-ing funeral godamit"
