Yes, lets rather talk about your New Year's Eve. Millions of people are facing hard financial times and VL wants to talk about his overpriced suite. (Sucker!!! )

I have to partially agree with VL on this, the whole fiscal cliff was self imposed drama and BS that they let it go to the wire. However this is a "Political" forum and there are a lot of political junkies here. What else do you expect them to discuss?

In actuality, people are attracted to the controversial and hot issues of the day, everything else is too boring or requires actual thinking. Good luck with that here?

End of discussion!

OK, so post a topic called" My Marxist Economic Buddy Richard Wolff's theory on Capitalism and evil corporations". And we can discuss it and make your points! BTW the $1.50 in corporate taxes was referring to the 1940s. LOL

More fun info on Fiscal Cliff voting. Individual senators didn't actually get to read the bill before they voted on it. Modern American goverment, pass it before the public and legislators find out what is in it! Like tax loopholes for Goldman Sachs, Disney, and NASCAR!!!!!

Winston Churchill once said Democracy is the worst form of goverment, except for all the others. I don't know if he would say that these days.
