Victor Fiorillo: President Obama comforted you and offered you “immediate” assistance. Since your encounter with him months ago, what has been your interaction with the White House?
Donna Brigantine: After his visit, I sent an email to President Obama. Many days later, I got a response back. It was disturbing.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Why not, you democrats screamed bloody murder when katrina hit NO, said President Bush did not get things moving fast enough, (even though the mayor and governor both sat on thier asses and did much of nothing), no different here, he was so concerned about the fiscal cliff, and the ravaged states of NJ and NY, that he went on vacation. But I know its all Bush's fault, that is all you die hard liberals know how to say. Well, no more. This is all on the current President and Congress. and it is both sides not just the republicans.
I'm confused by why the President is getting 100% of the blame for this when it is her insurance company and Congress that has failed this woman. Once again, a political agenda is pursued in preference of addressing the issue. I am no fan of Obama, but he is not to blame in this case. We need to stop caring more about politics than people. We need to stop putting our trust in organizations who push their own agenda. We need to stop blaming each other and instead learn to work together. There is more at stake here than getting your jollies trolling on an Internet forum. If that is all you want. Why not join 4chan and put your wits against 12 year olds?

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
