Pretty funny. Luckily George Soros is exempt.

I found it hilarious and would love to see more corporations let go of all of their politicians to save money. We might actually get back to a real democracy representing <gasp> the People for a change!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I would love to see that happen also Everyone but a simpleton can see that will only happen when we reduce the scope and power of the politicians.Yet they walk among us.

Would it not have the same effect if we reduce the scope and power of corporations in politics?

And how would you do that? Our politicians are addicted to that campaign money. Think the Supremest would stop it? And if you did take the corporations out of the picture couldn't private citizens like Donald Trump and Pat Stryker start buying elections.

I think you would have a better chance of limiting corporation meddling into politics than you will ever have of limiting the scope and power of a politician.

Yes it would but IMO that would require a basic change in human nature. Not going to happen. I thing that limiting the scope and power of politicians has about a snowballs chance in hell also but is slightly less unlikely that politicians will legislate and regulate themselves out of power.

And what happens when you move that money underground? You know it will still flow, but now you won't know who is giving what.

It is just like Prohibition, sure it limited drinking, but created a whole new set of problems.
