Doesn't sound like that German economy and wages are doing all that well. Hmmm, poverty, income inequality, slow wage growth and standard of living. I thought Germany was a model for us to follow, or was it Canada?
Maybe when Obama gets done fixing the USA he can move over to Europe and help out! LOL

"While German industry has enjoyed record export and profit growth, ordinary Germans have not had much economic joy over the past 13 years. As Charles Dumas of Lombard Street Research has demonstrated, real personal disposable income per capita rose by just over 7% from 1998 to 2011, compared to growth of 13% for Spain and around or over 18% for Britain, France and the US.

For most Germans real wages and living standards have not risen for 20 years, and Germany's once envied welfare, health and pensions system is being dismantled. Inequality has also risen. Despite Germany's low unemployment rate, poverty has grown markedly."

Interesting. Maybe why Germans are doing so well exporting.

I thought the was pre-911 USA we were supposed to using as a roll model when we, on average, liked our country.

Or has the greatest experiment ever failed?

Some have only been proud of this country since we elected the Great One and the experiment is taking a hard left turn. Lets see how following Europe works out.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

A great example to follow - not.

About time the German people figure out they are left holding the bag.

So do you ever think they would cut their losses and get out?
