Democratic House Speaker Mark Ferrandino dinged Republicans Thursday for introducing abortion measures, saying the party didn't learn from last year's election.
Democrats regained the majority in the House, knocking out four incumbents, and kept their majority in the Senate.
"Lessons on the campaign trail over the last year haven't been learned," Ferrandino said. "They say this is not their agenda, but it is one of the first bills introduced by the Republican Party."
Token bills for their base. They know they won't go anywhere in a Democratic legislature. Probably the foetus killers in the Dem party won't even let them get out of committee.
