Highlights of NY's Wide-Ranging Gun Control Bill

I heard Rudy Guiliani talking on Fox this morning and he had some interesting comments. Last year NYC and Chicago both had pretty much the same rules about gun control, but NYC's murder rate was much lower. He attributed it to the policing. NYC had a much more intrusive policing method, patting down likely suspects, etc. Looks like this strategy is being fought out in the courts as disregarding civil liberties. So it does make an interesting question for gun control people, both anti and pro. If this strategy does work to limit gun violence, would you support it? Especially over a take the guns away from legal people only.
