11" is the new 12"

A 10' 2x4 is still 10', or even an inch or two longer. Subway never advertised the other two dimensions, only the length.

Actually, they aren't selling a 12" sandwich, they are selling a "foot long" sandwich. Whose foot it is, I have no idea!!

Now, they could probably sue over the 6" sub, since it is likely only 5-1/2".

I hate lawsuits like this. Frivolous. Who really cares....just someone searching for free $$.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

It's orange juice from "concentrate."

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Wrong,

A 2x4 is cut as 2x4 by the sawyer. The 2x4 is complete at that point, you want it planed and smooth, so you buy it after it has been altered, in the case of the 2x4, it is planed down to 1.5x3.5 and at 8 or above it is reduced by 3/4 although 4/4 5/4 6/4 and the like have some variable finished dims depending on the region of the country you are in.

This is similar to us talking about DNA acids, these words should be left to those in the know.

And how about anyone that sues subway over this is just locked into an 12x12 pen that is 11x11 and only fed subway for 5 years. These folks are worthless.

Subway has done more for the health of this country than most citizens while using profit as a motive. Very few can accomplish this.

In no way would I consider Subway sandwiches to be healthy or that Subway itself has done more for the health of this country.

A Big Mac has 540 calories. A double Quarter Pounder has 740 calories.

A foot long Low Fat Chicken Sandwich has 640 calories. A Low Fat sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich has 760 calories. A foot long Big Philly Cheese steak, Chicken and Bacon Ranch, Meatball Marinara or Tuna Sandwich. are all almost 1000 calories.

Good points... but don't tell Bloomberg, he'll force sandwhich shops to limit the size. The government needs to make sure we all make good choices... and if we refuse, then those choices should be taken away :Whistle

That's not far from reality right now (can you imagine big soda bans 20 years ago)? Progress :rofllol
