A Big Mac has 540 calories. A double Quarter Pounder has 740 calories.
A foot long Low Fat Chicken Sandwich has 640 calories. A Low Fat sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich has 760 calories. A foot long Big Philly Cheese steak, Chicken and Bacon Ranch, Meatball Marinara or Tuna Sandwich. are all almost 1000 calories.
You're missing the size comparison....no way can I eat a "footlong" subway.....but I sure can finish a Big Mac. A half a footlong would also be half the calories, and less calories than a big mac or a double quarter pounder.

If I was that bothered by the 11 inches....I just go elsewhere.
I found it all quite amusing....anyone who has done any baking knows that dough does not rise or bake uniformly every time, there will always be variations, and there will be changes as that bread is both cooled and handled. To whine about an inch one way or the other is pretty silly.
Your cup o noodles is not a cup
Your Minute Rice takes 5 minutes
Your 14" pizza is 13.5"
Your footlong hotdog never was and the bun was 10" max.
Your Quarter Pounder was not even close.
Your Big Mac not as big as it once was.
