If you looking to later income and not at a daily portfolio value, lower prices work long term. The major question is will dividends be maintained and increased. Current net on the position is not a concern.
I started a thread a while ago about $10,000 a month income. I do not want to resurrect it but using SFL as an example my initial purchased price is below the current price but my position with reinvested dividends is worth more than what I put in. My annual divi is increasing.
