Republicans Come Out Against Election-Rigging Scheme

Once again, my question was about the fairness of 48 states giving all electoral votes to the winner. 48 states do that. So you think that is fair? Doesn't that supress votes too? Your link has nothing to do with the question.

And I have no idea if awarding state electoral votes based on the actual vote would of hurt or helped Obama. Your link is about congressional districts.

What The 2012 Election Would Look Like Under The Republicans' Vote-Rigging Plan

Once again, I've answered your question. The fact that you don't like the answer says more about you than it does about me.

Have a day...

No it didn't answer my question.

All you had to say was you wouldn't answer my question for whatever reason you choose rather than pretend you did.

But I did answer your question...

Your inability to understand, (or pretend that you didn't), is not my problem...

Good evening.

When Gore won the popular vote the Dems were all for getting rid of the Electoral College but now that it looks like they will have a EC super majority in the coming elections they want to keep it. Of course the GOP wants to tinker with the current system. It would be stupid to not try. Especially when you have so many states rural voters whose votes don't really matter like NY CA and IL.

I've always been ambivalent about the electoral college and how votes are proportioned.

Whether it is good or bad, it would take power away from the big metropolitan areas.
