It is hard to comunicate when liberals are from Mars and conservatives are from Venus.

Fair enough.

I read it as a liberal cartoon posting sarcasm about Reagan. I mean every panel was a put down of Reagan. Even the topic says "Reagan as seen by the left?". And I think it's a pretty good cartoon, I'm not even commenting on the content.

So where is...

Sounds more like conservative apologists for Reagan than anyone from the left....

???

That is based on the various times we (the left) have brought up Reagan and how his terms as president were in many ways exactly what the conservatives are now arguing against, but the conservatives still point to Reagan as on of the finest presidents in our history.

Was the title of this thread written by the OP, or was it the original title of the cartoon? Inquiring minds want to know. No source was given for it. My take was that the OP titled it.

Blazer Bob posted the OP, and I assume the title was his (ask him if you wish). And I think it was appropriate for the cartoon.

You said it "Sounds more like conservative apologists for Reagan than anyone from the left...". I assume your comment was about the cartoon (what else?)? Can we agree that cartoon wasn't from any "conservative apologist"?

I'm missing the distinction in that.....I have no idea who the cartoon was "from" I was commenting upon the cartoon itself, and it sounded to me like conservatives apologizing for the failings of Reagan by bringing up his good points and ignoring those things Reagan did as president that they would normally hate, but being that it was Reagan, those same things are OK....in other words, they would vilify any liberal with Reagan's record.

It's a cartoon pine, amusing, but not what it was billed as.
