Football is too dangerous for his mythical son, but thinks his real life daughters should be allowed to volunteer for combat.

Do you truly equate playing a game with protecting your country? President Obama wisely does not. Why risk early onset dementia for fun? Why shouldn't women defend our country as vehemently as men?

For fun? College football scholarships can be worth a quarter of a million dollars in tuition assistance.

So, is that the going price for a functioning mind nowadays? Good to know. I would value my sons mind more than that.

I wonder if the head trauma rate is higher among US combat vets or college and professional football players.

The NFL has been limiting full impact practices since they signed their new deal, colleges not so much, but I think they will soon.

Here again, the stakes are a little different.
