Something the Dog Said wrote: So you agree that Heartland Institute pays Carter for his anti-global warming advocacy. And that the Heartland Institute receives funding from the Koch Bros as well as ExxonMobil, Scaife and other conservative organizations. These are unequivocal facts.
Look, I only posted on Koch-Heartland-Carter because you kept insisting I had never commented on it when in fact I had. So I decided to elaborate even more since you apparently wanted to hear more.
In Bob's forum and here, you are the one that made the charge that Koch funds Heartland and that the money flows to Carter. I showed that that the Koch Foundation states that only $25K was given to Heartland in over 10 years (shocking!), and even that $25K wasn't earmarked for climate change, it was earmarked for "healthcare" (my guess it was to oppose Obamacare, but that's just a guess and it's another topic). But healthcare is a high priority to the Koch Foundation (perhaps their #1 priority if you look at their grants) and they fund many high quality hospitals and cancer research, so granting money for healthcare seems consistent.
You made the charge, and you still aren't backing it up. All you are doing now is throwing tons more stuff out there which wasn't a part of this "discussion". So unless you can back up that Koch gave money to Heartland to fight climate change, and that money went to Carter, then you were dead wrong in your post on Bob's forum. That's what you asked for, and that's what you got.
And gee, $25K in over 10 years (for healthcare) actually makes the Koch's kind of cheapskates in regards to Heartland. Who could they buy for that? Well, I guess they could get their own forum on 285bound.com (sorry SC, j/k). lol
Where is your outrage about the $7 million Koch gives to PBS and NOVA? Imagine what they must be doing with NOVA!! :VeryScared:

Well for $2 grand+ a year, I'll shovel the Koch's driveway at their mansion in Conifer (not that I know if they have one). And I'll shovel George Soros' driveway too just to be fair (and yes, I could be "bought").
Well, so long as the driveway isn't longer than 25' and there is no more snow than here. lol

So, I may have relied upon faulty information about the connection between Carter and Koch Bros, (although I find it credible that since he receives most of his funding from the anti-climate change crowd that I cited in the earlier post, that he did receive some of the $67 million that the Koch Bros. have spread around the anti-climate change crowd). The gist of my message, for which was found to be unsuitable in Bob's World, was that the OP was conservative BS. Or do you deny that Carter's message is funded by conservatives, and that it is BS? Or do you buy into his "science"? That there has been no evidence of global warming in the past 15 years. I stand behind my statement that the OP was conservative BS.
