Are there any reliable news sources?

I think the Christian Science Monitor is one of the most objective sources in the field, today.

They're fair, compassionate, and thorough.

I also read the Economist a lot (they're removed from the frenzy of US Politics)

I know a lot of people poo-poo the NYT --- but they do employ a few token conservatives.
Frankly - when it comes to literature and technology, it's hard to find a peer.

I also read Stratfor --- with some hesitation.

In agreement with CSM...... I forgot about them......Since Stratfor was "hacked" and the ensuing fubar afterwards,I was dismayed
and disappointed in their lax security.......they should have been on top of that issue. NOTHING IS SECURE.......

One part mixed sources
One part scepticism
One part common sense

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
