Outrage Over 'Illegal Immigrant Hunting Permit' Bumper Sticker In Colorado (VIDEO)

People in Colorado are outraged over an anti-immigrant bumper sticker with a violent message, NBC affiliate 9 News reports.

Intended as a joke for people who find the idea of killing immigrants funny, the sticker reads “illegal immigrant hunting permit” over a map of the continental United States. “No bag limit -- tagging not required,” the sticker says.

The sticker is made by a company called Central States Novelty, according to 9 News. The sticker vendor describes itself on its website as “one of, if not the largest, wholesale supplier of novelties, gifts and general merchandise for the convenience store and truck stop industry in the Midwest.”

"This product has absolutely no use other than to spread, incite, promote and justify racial hatred, violence, xenophobia, and other forms of hatred based on intolerance and to demonize immigrants as invaders who should be shot on sight," activist Victor Hoelscher wrote in a petition to CafePress at the time.

Wow... Just when you think the right-wing bigots and knuckle-draggers can't get any more offensive in Colorado...

But wait!...There's a "kinder, gentler" teabagger party out there... Marco Rubio said so... They're going to put some more lipstick on that pig and try to convince Hispanics that they "like Hispanics"...No, really!

Per the Denver Post this morning the company is recalling the offending stickers.

And this is somehow proof the GOP wants nothing to do with Hispanics? I see the "outrage" as just another attempt drive a wedge between people of color and the GOP. Those sort stickers and tags have been around for many years, I remember seeing them as a high school kid. FYI they weren't always aimed at people of color. I found them offensive then and still find them offensive.

It's a sticker produced by a novelty company, nothing more.

It's the people who BOUGHT the stickers and put them on their cars...Not the novelty company that made them. Hell, novelty companies have been making obscene bumper-stickers for decades.

But I DO hope the knuckle-draggers keep driving around with them on their cars. It says SO MUCH about the right-wing mentality.

Is there any indication that anybody actually bought any of the stickers, other than 9 NEWS, and put them on their cars?

Is there any indication that there AREN'T a bunch of them out there on bigots cars? You let me know when you find it...

This wasn't just a "Colorado thing"... This company was supplying them all over the U.S. And every vehicle that has one on it is an advertisement for the xenophobes and bigots on the Right that still inhabit the GOTP. Jus' keep doin' what yer doin'... You guys did so well with the Hispanic vote the last time... (71% DIDN'T vote for you...) I just want you to keep it up... NO, Really!

There are a lot of people on the left who don't want illegal immigrants taking their jobs too. Do you have any proof for your slander?

Since you never post any proof of anything, I'm not inclined to go looking for proof-of-a-negative to prove anything to you. I'll wait for your proof that "a lot of people on the left" are anti-immigrant. (I guess that's why we got 71% of the Hispanic vote in the last election...How'd you do?)

Continue making your ignorant assumptions that ANY liberals are running around with "Illegal Immigrant Hunting Permits" on their vehicles...I'm still waiting for your proof.

It's not my fault that the teabaggers are the Party-of-Bigotry...(not to mention the " Party-of-Stupid " -- Bobby Jindal).
