There is no "purity" - Facebook is a corporate whore as well, and is getting increasingly vocal complaints about its actions reducing business page posts showing in Fans News Feeds so they can force businesses to pay to promote their posts and boost their views. So you get a thousand more Likes on your page, who cares? That means FB adds it to what, 10 Feeds of real users and 100 feeds of fake users? Whoop-dee-doo.
