They vilify us. We vilify them. It is the name of the game, distort records, pick and choose outrages, etc.

I really think your title of this thread should be "How the right thinks the left sees Justice Scalia?"

Are you saying that cartoon was done by someone on the the right? As far as I can tell it is people on the left who think it is funny.

While it is just a cartoon I do think it captures some of the stereotypes of some of the left.

Archer, I think you are all wrong on this one. If it was the right thinking how the left viewed Scalia, we would have put him in a Klan hood with a forked tail coming out of his white robe.

Obvious question - Who did the cartoon?

But not an obvious answer, at least for me. I tried to back track it but just got an error msg. I do know that the person who posted it on another site is what I consider from the left.

The cartoonist is Brian McFadden. From looking at his history of work (or almost any cartoonist for that matter) you might find it next to impossible to pigeonhole him into any political group.

But that is what this topic is really about isn't it? Posting what we think another group thinks and attempting to pigeon hole them into specific group by illustrating what one or more of a particular group has said or done in the past.

It is just a cartoon. As we have seen in other similar threads, they often have dual meanings and messages depending on what side of the fence you may be standing on.

.

Well said... seems like some people are completely unaware that they themselves are using that exact tactic. Not you PF, but the offenders know who they are.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
