WASHINGTON — Citing figures indicating that more than 100,000 federal employees owe more than $1 billion in federal taxes, a House committee on Wednesday approved legislation that would require the firing of government workers who are “seriously tax delinquent.”

Barry's worried about getting more taxes from the 1%, meanwhile Gubment employees have not been paying their taxes.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Fox Ignores Its Reporting To Paint Federal Employees As Hypocritical Tax Dodgers

Fox & Friends ignored reporting on this topic from its lead-in show, Fox & Friends First. A segment on the preceding program showed that federal employees pay their taxes on time at a more frequent rate than the general population:

According to a report from the Associated Press, the IRS report found:

Overall, the 9.8 million workers included in the data had a delinquency rate of 3.2 percent. That's better than the general public. The IRS says the delinquency rate for the general public was 8.2 percent.

Well, dang... So, the delinquency-rate for Federal workers AND RETIREES was 3.2%; and the general population was 8.2%... Imagine my surprise... And Fox ignored their own lead-in story so they could be outraged-for-a-day.

Well, I'm OUTRAGED, I tell you, OUTRAGED....

Why, that's right up there with the lies about Obama paying for a dog-walker; or lies about Paul Krugman declaring bankruptcy; or lies about Chuck Hagel speaking to a [non-existent] group called, "Friends of Hamas"; or..........

Shouldn't it be fairly easy to garnish the Fed employees wages? Maybe one reason they have a higher compliance rate.

Agree, but the process should be a lot more thorough. Anyone dodging taxes should be hammered on, period. I'm tired of people making excuses for others all the time. I don't make sh** and I still pay my share. Even if you're on unemployment or especially retirement, you better damn well be paying taxes. I can even think of a few ways you could get at least 'work' out of a homeless person, give me a break. Society has become as liberal as a hookah amidst a hippey drum circle.

Well, we agree on that...

The vultures like Trump, RMoney, Jamie Dimon, Blankstein, and all the rest that hide their money offshore should be hammered on, period! And the corporations, like G.E., Facebook, Apple, Starbucks, Northrup, ....Yep... ALL of 'em...
