Republican Governor Primary Poll

We were wondering who you would vote for in the upcoming election (the poll)

And second question. Who do you think will win? Post that in the thread.

Very interesting stuff.

good question - if maes wins the primary then i think he has a better chance of backing by repubs and independents and just could beat out hickenlooper.

Just heard Maes vs. McGinnis on Rosen's show on 850 KOA (I think you can go to the KOA website to hear it) at least Maes has some "fire in his belly" regarding the issues, while McGinnis sounded pretty wishy-washy. I think I'd have to go with Maes based on this debate...I just don't know if he can beat ol' "Hick" in the election now that Tancredo is going to split the conservative vote...

raising taxes. My ,how well thought out. Thats the path we have
been dragged down the last 20 years. Read the issues, PLEASE.

We need a None of the Above

and to the Tancredo splitting the conservative vote, I maintain that he will be able to draw the independent voters better than any of the other candidates.

I'm confused - are you saying that Maes was asking the tax question? (And to whom? I only heard part of the KOA interview.) Or was he being asked the question? He doesn't strike me as the kind of candidate to raise taxes...everything I've seen is just the opposite...

But will he draw enough of the Republicans, too, to defeat Hickenlooper? That's my concern. It will be interesting, that's for sure. I've got concerns with all of the candidates for govenor, so it's probably going to come down to who can beat Hick, not raise taxes and reduce government size & spending. Do you think it's too late to get None of the Above to run? LOL
