If you think we are living in a time that LE isn't paying more attention to people who have CCW permits and "gun nuts" in general I suggest you re-think the situation.

Well, I listened to the Sheriffs of Park and Jeffco this evening. It sure did not sound like people with CCW's are on their list of issues.

I have a CHL and 90% of the times I have been pulled over and show my permit, I have been treated with respect, like I am one of the good guys and I think it has even helped me not get tickets.

"gun free zones are likely to be a little less safe."

Tell ya what, Chicken Little, you worry about the sky falling, and I'll worry about keeping the gun-nuts and bozos out of the places where I eat and shop.

Paranoia? Shootings happen all the time, in every place you can imagine; Walmart, MickyD's, theaters, etc. Until guns are banned completely and the existing ones become obsolete over the next couple hundred years, it'll be a problem? Where have YOU been? lol

Yes.... And how many of them have been stopped by another wacko with a CCW, who "just happens to be packing", who intervened to stop it?

I can get a rough idea of the number of shootings in public places... And y'know, I can't remember a one of them that has been stopped by some "faux-hero" who's packing....

So you have no plan of action? Just bash CCW people? I don't even HAVE a concealed carry permit, but I have an idea of what to do if something goes down when I'm out and about. Tell me a tale m'Lady.

Still waiting for those confirmed accounts of ANYBODY with a gun stopping a shooting in a place of business...

Y'all let me know when you have one, y'hear?

(...And even if you were to find ONE--and I doubt that you can--what would that be?...maybe .000001% of the shootings in a business?)

Edit: Wait wait wait wait wait, you're saying that's (OTHER people with guns) what I'M saying? Not even close if that's the case LJ. Please, for the love of everything decent in this world including chocolate ice cream, answer my question please.
