Oh, and here's some of the comments from Breitbart about the kid's vacation:
Because, Obama.
In “Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle Stalks the President’s Daughters, Incites Racial Hatred,” here are a few excerpts of some of the readers’ comments:
Spoiled punk ass commie kids, maybe they can go horse back riding with Putin

A record number of colored people are in poverty and the Obamas spend $1,000 an hour for golf lessons, $115,000 for weekend vacations and $125,000 for private schools and they still voted for him. I hope they enjoy living in poverty.

And there’s a ton of them who are right now talking to one another about their EBT cards and their welfare checks on their Obama phones. I wonder what other goodies for them we need to pay for? Oh yea, healthcare which is chasing doctors out of their practices. Freebies are just not free except to the useless folks using them.

“It is unclear at this time if first lady Michelle Obama is also at the resort, or if she is planning to join her daughters there. ” Nobody knows where the pig is at?

I didn’t know chimps could take vacation
Esquire’s excellent Charles P. Pierce, in, “WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE MORONS?,”
calls Breitbart journalists ” somewhat lower than crocodile piss” and adds:
What possible interest does this serve, except to titillate the dark and envious nether parts of Boyle’s 22 readers? (No link, because fk that pudgy little monster.) There is no possible news value to this. Sooner or later, the frolicks of what my pal Boehlert calls the “rightwing entertainment complex” are going to get someone killed.
Keepin' it classy, there, Knuckle-draggers....
Oh, and Fred, here's a place to insert some irrelevant "They did it too" stuff: ________________________________________

But Secret Service is much more expensive housing, flying, and dining overseas than it is at Camp David.
But you keep on defending these classless, compassionless, vacations.

:faint:
Well then, i guess the class trip should have been to Camp David, yeah, that's educational.
FredHayek wrote: It just shows how serious the Obama administration actually think sequester cuts are. Plus spending that amount of money in foreign capitals doesn't even help the US, it is actually an outflow of capital, like the 250 million we are giving Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
Right. So, what's another million for hotels as long as Joe is enjoying himself? Not to mention that nice little spring break that Malia took.
What, exactly, is your beef with this? Her parents pay for the school trip.....the secret service gets paid whether they accompany her on a school trip, or just to school.....when did the right start complaining about what the president's kids do? answer.....when Obama took office.
WRONG.
The only issues is just the usual double standard of it, thats all. You apparently don't remember the media complaining about Bush's daughter's trip to Argentina because of safety issues. Mexico? Yeah, that's a safe place for kids.
"Amid a growing barrage of front-page headlines, U.S. embassy officials "strongly suggested" President Bush’s twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara Bush, cut short their trip to Buenos Aires because of security issues, U.S. diplomatic and security sources tell ABC News. But the girls have stayed on, celebrating their 25th birthday over the weekend and producing even more headlines about their activities."
Yes, the Secret Service Agents are paid regardless, but are they paid the same when they are away from their families for a week as they are when they get to go home every night to be with their families? It's on the taxpayer's dime after all, so what's your guess?
How about the hotel bills for the Secret Service Agents? How about the hotels bills for the advance teams? How about the per diem for the Secret Service Agents, the medical support staff, the military folks who fly the planes carrying both the First Family, the Secret Service Agents, the medical support staff, and the rest of the folks who make up the First Family entourage for the food they must purchase (or have purchased for them) while the First Family is on "vacation"? Are you trying to say that these expenses are incurred with a "staycation" in the White House as well? The jet fuel for the C5 Galaxy to transport all the support vehicles? Perhaps there is a helicopter or two included in the support vehicles that needs to be factored into the equation? The 24/7 security for the military craft that have to be wherever the First Family happens to be vacationing? Do you think the folks who run the airport in the Bahamas comp the ramp or hanger costs for the USofA? The separate jet for Michelle to join her kids later when it is more convenient for her schedule? Not to mention Air Force One should the president himself decide to join them for an afternoon or two while they are there to complete the "normal family" experience.
A First Family vacation involves significantly more than Secret Service Agents doing the job they are paid to do in a different place, but you knew that already, didn't you.
