CIA Torture Tape Destroyer up for Promotion!

As John Brennan moved into the CIA director’s office this month, another high-level transition was taking place down the hall.

A week earlier, a woman had been placed in charge of the CIA’s clandestine service for the first time in the agency’s history. She is a veteran officer with broad support inside the agency. But she also helped run the CIA’s detention and interrogation program after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and signed off on the 2005 decision to destroy videotapes of prisoners being subjected to treatment critics have called torture.

Weeelllll.... I'M impressed. She destroys the evidence of the Bush/Cheney Torture machine, in 2005, to make sure they don't have anything to prove that they are war-criminals, and then she gets put up for a promotion by the new CIA director...

Imagine my surprise....

No, I'm getting down on the war-criminal, Bush, who had the tapes destroyed to cover his a**...And I'm not real happy with the CIA director...

Imagine my surprise that you would try to extrapolate that to the pres.... :VeryScared:

I can only imagine that conversation:

BHO: Hey, get me Brennan on the phone... Brennan? Hey, you remember that gal that destroyed the torture-evidence for Bush back in 2005? Why don't you promote her to "Head of Clandestine Services"?...Yeah! That's the ticket... It'll drive the Righties nuts...

Duh!
You are a secret spy organization, why keep around out of date "enhanced interrogation" tapes that can implicate you?
OPSEC.
I hope our CIA is smarter than stupid teens who tape themselves breaking laws.

To add to the very uncomfortable Jazz these days.......I note GENERAL David Petraeus has via an address to a ROTC group in California starting back......taking full responsibility and moving on.....unlike the "Rapiest Slick" - the second president to be impeached in American history. Now the General has a massive following and possibly like Webb(ALWAYS FAITHFUL) of Virginia may well run for a Senate seat 2014......several leftist Senators are QUITTING and there are opportunities. To start a really nasty rumor he (David, David he's our man........) has been quoted to really like Colorado.
With Cheney in Wyoming, Bush in Texas, and Rumsfedl in Taos........makes sense.

Revenge best served on a cold plate.

David Petraeus against Udall in 2014? I like those numbers. Usually I am against carpetbaggers but for Udall I will make an exemption!
