Mark Sanford Versus Stephen Colbert's Sister?

Elizabeth Colbert Busch, is running for Congress against Mark Sanford, fromer MIA governor. Only in America?

A former governor who went AWOL and slipped off to South America to see his mistress, is trying to get back into politics after divorcing his wife and marrying the new girl is running against the comedian/show host Stephen Colbert's sister.

The big questions, will his state forgive Mark? And will the Colbert Report interview both candidates?

A) She's already ahead of Sanford in the polls; And no matter how you slice it, he's "damaged goods."
B) What does it matter who's sister she is? Is that supposed to have any bearing whatsoever for her ability to do the job?
C) My guess is that Colbert won't "interview" either of them on the air; but that doesn't mean he won't go to the state to campaign for her...And Sanford will just have to campaign as best he can. (Besides, there's no "fairness doctrine" any more...Remember? ... Limbaugh doesn't like it.)

Her famous brother generates much more national interest in this race, and Mark Sanford just increases this. Is she qualified? Who cares. Not like I get to vote for her.
She probably is smarter than Diana Degette who doesn't understand that gun magazines are re-usable.
