Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, National Association for Gun Rights Being Added To Anti-Gay Mailer Lawsuit

DENVER -- Two gun rights groups worked on political attack mailers in Colorado that showed a gay couple from New Jersey kissing, according to claims in a federal lawsuit Wednesday.

The mailers were used in two Colorado Republican primaries last year and cited the issue of civil unions to caution voters against particular candidates who supported legislation providing gay couples protections similar to marriage.

The Southern Poverty Law Center sued last year on behalf of the New Jersey couple and the photographer, saying the image was used without their permission, and named Virginia-based Public Advocate of the United States as a defendant because its name was on the fliers.

SPLC said in a motion Wednesday that it wants to add Rocky Mountain Gun Owners and the National Association for Gun Rights as defendants.

Wellll... Those fun-loving guys at RMGO & NAGR just can't help themselves.... But it's nice to know that these organizations that advertise themselves as being for "gun-owners", are also "fronts" for the GOTeaBagger/Bigot party in the primaries... Who knew?!?!

The SPLC? Once respected, they went into moonbat status over a decade ago, and have lost all their objectivity.

And the RMGO & NAGR are now parties in a lawsuit over election-fraud....

And, they get to spend RMGO money defending it...

Hope it costs them a LOT...

If I was a gay couple, I would actually think it was awesome that our pick was used in a national campaign against. "Yep, that is us!"

Plus now they can pay off the wedding with the proceeds from the lawsuit.
