PETA Plans to Fly Drones That Would 'Stalk Hunters'

08 Apr 2013 16:01 #1 by Grady

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is actively shopping for a drone that would "stalk hunters," the organization said Monday.
The group says it will "soon have some impressive new weapons at its disposal to combat those who gun down deer and doves" and that it is "shopping for one or more drone aircraft with which to monitor those who are out in the woods with death on their minds."

That might be a fun activity to add to your hunt day. :Whistle

PETA wants to spend thousands of dollars on equipment to use against people armed with high powered rifles? No they won't get shot down.

PETA has as much right to spend their money on drones for monitoring illegal behavior as the NRA has the right to run slanderous ads against the president's children.

Actually harrasing hunters is a crime in some States. And harrasing wildlife is another crime.

If the hunters aren't doing anything illegal, and it's not disturbing the wildlife, then it's not harrassment.

I can see it now:

Hunting Buddy #2 (because hunting buddy #1 is the Wundermutt): "Otis, what is that sticking out of your pack?"

Otis: "Oh that? It's an antenna."

Hunting Buddy #2: "No S***. I can see that, what's it for? We don't need any extra noise coming from the blind, it'll scare the ducks away."

Otis: "Well Gladys, if you must know, it's connected to a transmitter that jams the same frequencies PETA uses to operate their drones."

Hunting Buddy #2: "Dude, PETA drones?! Hitting the sauce a bit early or do you need to put some more tinfoil inside you hat?"

Otis: "Seen any drones today? No, no I didn't think so..."

Hunting Buddy #1: "Would you two shut up and shoot some ducks already?!"

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

I can see it now:...

"Hey, Billy Bob, did you hear anything?..."

"Nope, but I'm gonna shoot me something, even if it's illegal... But you keep your eyes peeled for one of those drone-thingies..."

(While the drone sends pictures and GPS location information....)

You have to love the fact that the Bubbas think they'll be any better at hearing/detecting the drones that Al Queda and the Taliban were unable to detect____right before the missile strike...
